Daniel Penn Teams
with Booz Allen Hamilton
to Win Major Army Contract
Daniel Penn Associates
Hartford, CT - April 22, 2003.
The U.S. Army recently notified Booz Allen Hamilton (BAH) of its
selection as a prime contractor on a $650 million, 5-year contract to
provide operations, planning, training, and resource services to the U.
S. Army. As a subcontractor to BAH, Daniel Penn Associates (DPA), a
Hartford-based management consulting firm, will contribute resources for
operational and mobilization planning, organizational support, and task
order management.
“This is a very rewarding announcement,” said Mr. Tony Rodriguez,
DPA’s president, “both from BAH’s’ confidence in our consulting
capability and from the Army’s confidence in the entire BAH team’s
proposal.” Specific contract awards will be forthcoming as task orders
over the next year. The award covers the Army’s southern region,
including the First Army, Third Army, and Forces Command (FORSCOM).
Daniel Penn Associates is a minority owned and operated management
consulting and training firm with a proven track record of helping
clients improve performance and achieve true competitive advantage. DPA
is also an approved government contractor with a current GSA/FSS
schedule for consulting services. In addition, DPA is certified as a
small disadvantaged business and as a minority business enterprise.
Since 1978, DPA has served private industry and government with
services including business process reengineering, cost reduction
programs, supply chain optimization, manufacturing productivity
improvement, organizational development, and supplier diversity
programs. In a recent performance and satisfaction survey of clients by
Dun & Bradstreet, DPA received the highest rating of “outstanding”.
