Army Maintenance Contract

Hartford, CT - April 22, 2003.
The U.S. Army recently awarded a maintenance consulting contract to
Daniel Penn Associates (DPA), a Hartford-based management consulting
firm. The award is through Alliant Techsystems, the Army’s prime
contractor that operates the Lake City Small Ammunition Plant in
Independence, MO. DPA consultants are tasked with developing field
maintenance procedures for their manufacturing and plant equipment.
“We’re very pleased with the Army’s recognition of our strong
maintenance consulting capabilities,” said Mr. Tony Rodriguez, DPA’s
president. “We’re also pleased to be providing this service to the
military at this important time.” The contract award amounts to
approximately $186,000 and will utilize three consultants over a
four-month period of time.
