Dun & Bradstreet Past Performance Evaluation
Daniel Penn Scores Very High in Supplier
Performance Ratings Survey
Hartford, CT - April 2005
In a continuous effort to improve the performance of its services, Daniel Penn Associates
had an independent survey of its customers conducted by Open Ratings, Inc., a Dun & Bradstreet
company, in April 2005. Daniel Penn scored an overall rating of 92 (out of 100). This Summary
Performance Rating of our suppliers is an assessment of our likely overall performance, which
indicates where our Summary Performance Rating falls in comparison to other rated companies
in our SIC group. Open Ratings calculates supplier performance scores using a sophisticated
algorithm that takes into account the amount of information available on a supplier, the recency
of the information, and the accuracy of the raters. Ratings range from 0 to 100; however, this
is not a percentile score.
The ratings are developed through a survey of recent customers, who are asked to rank Daniel
Penn Associates in each of the following service areas: Reliability, Cost, Order Accuracy,
Delivery/Timeliness, Quality, Business Relations, Personnel, Customer Support and Responsiveness.
Tony Rodriguez, President of Daniel Penn Associates said “We want to know what our customers
think of us. This is very important for us as we continuously look for ways to support our
clients with quality services. Getting an independent view of what they think of us is extremely
important. Needless to say, we are extremely gratified and pleased with the results. This offers
us further proof that our approach to conducting business in a collaborative and forthright
manner is a win-win situation for us and our customers.”
