Daniel Penn Associates to Perform Project Management Training for the MDC's Clean Water Project
Hartford, CT - June 9, 2008
The Metropolitan District Commission has engaged Daniel Penn Associates
to provide Project Management training to its senior engineers on the Clean Water Project.
DPA will provide certified project management training tailored specifically to the MDC’s
requirements.
“The MDC’s Clean Water Project is a significant investment over the next decade
to improve the environment and sewer systems in the Greater Hartford community,” said
Mr. Tony Rodriguez, DPA’s president. “It’s important to employ good project
management techniques, to keep projects on schedule and within budget. We’re very pleased
to assist the MDC in training their engineers in correct project management techniques.”
Daniel Penn Associates will work closely with the MDC to address a range of project management
topics, including project requirements, work breakdown structures, project schedules and budgets,
resource planning, estimating and risk analysis, critical path, Gantt charting, project tracking
and earned value, and reporting and lessons learned. A Project Management Institute (PMI) certified
instructor will conduct the training.
