Daniel Penn Associates (DPA) has been engaged by one of the most comprehensive university hospitals in the world to provide consulting services to its Office of Facilities Operations (OFO) for its two New York city locations. DPA will provide hands-on guidance and on-the-job training in maintenance planning, scheduling, dispatching and general management. OFO is responsible for maintaining approximately 7 million sq. ft. in total and it recognizes that effective Planning and Scheduling is essential for providing the best service to its customers, increasing asset reliability, improving workforce performance and reducing expense. The engagement began in October 2011 and is expected to continue into the 2nd quarter of 2012.
