Consistent with its hands-on approach to consulting, DPA's continuous improvement process will include interviews; data gathering and analysis; work study observations; backlog reviews; process mapping; performance measure reviews; workload management studies; documentation and work order analysis; performance measures reviews, and root cause analyses. "Our goal is to define the gap between where the organization is and where it needs to be," said Tony Rodriquez, DPA president. "As a partner in the continuous improvement process, we work with clients to identify practical opportunities to increase efficiencies and reduce operating expenses in addition to serving as a high-level advocate for change." Phase I of DPA's engagement with Schering-Plough will result in a detail report outlining findings and conclusion, recommendations and an implementation plan for moving forward. DPA will then provide implementation support as necessary and requested. With headquarters in Kenilworth, NJ, Schering-Plough is a research-based company engaged in the discovery, development, manufacturing and marketing of pharmaceutical products worldwide. DPA is a 24-year old, minority-owned management consulting firm serving national and international clients in manufacturing, financial services, public utilities and government. The firm focuses on helping clients improve operating performance and reduce costs. ###
