Daniel Penn Consultants Certified by SEA
The Supplier Excellence Alliance (SEA) is the alliance of leading aerospace , defense and
space prime contractors whose purpose is to accelerate supply chain performance given their
unique needs of their supply chain. The SEA Lean Enterprise System (LES) is comprised of a
collection of models that captures the best practices for manufacturing enterprise improvement
and addresses three areas critical to successful implementation:
- Operations Excellence (lean) – Focuses
on operational improvement priorities set by leadership and the voice of the customer.
- Leadership and Culture – Focuses on strategy and leadership of the
change efforts.
- Workforce Development – Focuses on job skills certification and cross-training to
promote standard work and workforce flexibility.
Daniel Penn Associates’ consultants have been certified by SEA to deliver these services
to the supplier base of these defense and prime contractors.
This collaborative model, adopted by SEA members, is a business system that leverages lean across
a supplier organization’s entire enterprise. It’s the definitive roadmap that gets
all suppliers headed in the same direction and aligned with the new, emerging needs of the
