The Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC) has engaged Daniel Penn Associates to provide Inventory Management training to their Materials Services Group. Training content will emphasize the following:

For the Planning staff:
		Forecasting (Horizon/Demand/Analysis)
		Focus Forecast
		Forward Buying
		Trend Forecasting Models
		EOQ (formula and application), Reorder cycle, Reorder Point Replenishment
		Maximum & Minimum (reorder point triggers, calculations and models)
		Maximizing Stock Turnover
		Purchase Price Variance

For the Warehouse staff:
		Cycle counting modules with emphasis on record accuracy
		Physical security/controlled access
		Receiving and inspection
		Put away/pulling
		Auditing/researching discrepancies
