Daniel Penn Associates LLC awarded Lean Six Sigma Process Improvement Contract from Commonwealth of Massachusetts

Hartford, Conn., January 2014 – Daniel Penn Associates LLC (DPA) has been awarded a Lean Six Sigma Consulting Services Contract from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts’ Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM). The task order based contract is for two years with three potential one-year extensions.

DCAMM is the state agency responsible for facility maintenance, major public vertical construction and real estate services for the Commonwealth. Its client agencies include the Massachusetts judiciary, constitutional offices, state universities, community colleges, the University of Massachusetts system, public safety agencies, health and human service agencies, environmental agencies and the information technology division, among others.

Daniel Penn’s team will support DCAMM across all business units, offering Lean Six Sigma (LSS) consulting, coaching and training services. These will be designed to help eliminate unnecessary actions, enhance organizational efficiency, increase service quality, reduce the complexity and time required to complete tasks, and ensure that the LSS improvement projects aligns with its strategic priorities and supports a culture of continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

In addition to providing their expertise on LSS tools, DPA’s team will help DCAMM integrate their process improvement efforts within its overall business transformation framework and create a self-sustaining LSS culture. DPA will also help DCAMM expand its performance metrics, analyze and track monetary and nonmonetary benefits of the program.
