Daniel Penn Associates awarded second contract with Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA)

Hartford, Conn., December 20, 2012 – As part of Phoenix Group’s multi-disciplined team, which works under the Navy’s Seaport-e services acquisition platform, Daniel Penn Associates (DPA) has been awarded a second five-year contract to provide engineering, technical, program and professional support services to the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), which engineers, builds, buys and maintains the Navy’s ships, submarines and combat systems.

Under Phoenix Group, DPA will support the professional and logistics needs of NAVSEA and related commands (Naval Air Systems, Space and Naval Warfare Systems, Naval Facilities Engineering, and Naval Supply Systems), the Office of Naval Research, the United States Marine Corps and the Defense Threat Reduction Agency.

DPA will offer its support in the areas of business process improvement, Lean Six Sigma transformation, organizational development, maintenance and asset management, productivity improvement, acquisition management and supply chain logistics.
