Education & Training
In addition to offering expert consulting services, Daniel Penn Associates also offers
education and training programs that complement the systems and methodologies we embrace.
The courses can be delivered generically or tailored to meet a client's specific
objectives, environment, and/or the needs of the individual people involved. The focus of
all of our programs is to bring participants from concept awareness to implementation
reality.
All our seminars and workshops use a practical, highly interactive approach, with a
lively mix of exercises, role-playing, and case studies that challenge participants to
expand beyond their perceived limitations or expectations.
Daniel Penn Associates' training consultants are certified instructors for APICS. We
use our own materials supplemented by APICS education tools. In addition, we are approved
by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) school and provide certification
courses. In conjunction with Logistical Outsourcing Group, we are initiating a College
Education Unit (CEU) accreditation program that is recognized academically by the IATA,
DOT, FAA and OSHA for compliance training. Students who successfully complete our programs
receive certification, which is often mandatory for DOT, EPA, FAA and OSHA.
In an effort to offer the broadest range of programs, we are affiliated with
specialists who supply education and training in specialized areas, such as demand flow
manufacturing. Several of our education consultants also develop and teach seminars on
transportation and logistics for the National Association of Purchasing Management (NAPM)
and serve as industry editors for InfoEdge Magazine.
