Free event will be held June 24 at the Tunxis Country Club, Farmington Conn.

Farmington, Conn., January 18, 2019 – Aerospace and industrial manufacturers across New England are invited to kick off summer by connecting with vendors, taking part in product demonstrations and enjoying an afternoon of complimentary food and activities during the region’s first free trade event focusing on materials handling, packaging and lean continuous improvement.

The New England Material Handling, Packaging and Lean Expo (NEMEX) will be held on Monday, June 24, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Tunxis Country Club, 87 Town Farm Road, Farmington Conn., 06032.

Exhibits open and coffee will be served 9-11 a.m. A complimentary lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. From 2-5 p.m., attendees may take part in product demonstrations, hear guest speakers or enjoy free horseshoes, giant Jenga and Bocce Ball. Golfers who bring their clubs and obtain a voucher at the front desk will receive a free bucket of balls for the Tunxis driving range.

The event is free to representatives of New England manufacturers, distributors and vendors, college and university faculty and students interested in advanced manufacturing, material handling, packaging and lean disciplines.
